Once again we strongly recommend to watch our high quality downloads on your TV screen. Of course with todays' technology this is extremely simple and you do not need any kind of IT knowledge for doing that. It costs approx. $ 100 only.

You can then watch any clips, downloads and our HD downloads on your TV screen, selecting the media file by simply sitting on your couch or in your bed while using the remote control and watching the TV screen. Wouldn't that be wonderful?

Here is a link we found today in theAMAZON store about WDTV. There are also some video files listed that we recommend to play (if you're interested) to understand how the WDTV is working.

http://www.tribgirls.com/EN/information2/HDReleased.asp

This is just a deliberate information because we are always strongly interested to inform our customers about the current technology and eager to inform them about the best and most convenient ways for watching our media files, since we know that only satisfied customers are any good customers. We believe that we are the only source on the web who is deliberately giving customers such information that is not directly related with our products.

If you wanna enhance your tribgirls experience 1000% both in quality and convenience, we recommend you to begin thinking to connect such a little WDTV box to your TV screen. (Of course the WDTV box isn't made for us, and it'll play all your other downloads as well as all DVD files if you store/copy your DVD to a hard drive (e.g. USB hard drive).

I tell you that since I have the WDTV that I do not use any DVD players any longer and that I'm watching things on my TV screen what I had never hoped ever for being able to watch on a TV. And it's completely without the need for turning on a computer. It's just the box and the TV and perhaps a LAN cable or a USD drive. It's what I had dreamt of for many years to become reality. I'm really euphoric. This wa sthe best hardware purchase in the past 10 years that I've done.

Regardless if you're watching clips of tube sites, dww downloads, dww dvds, any other downloads, etc. .... This box is capable of playing them all on your TV screen. Just connect your data storage (either connect your USB drives or - much easier - simply connect your LAN cable and access all your data storage from your bed or from your sofa with the remote control.)

Much recommended to watch the 4 videos about WDTV dsiplayed on the amazon.com website (see link in my previous post above).

There's now a link on the tribgirls homepage that redirects you directly to the amazon.com website for convenient checking of the technical details of the WDTV box, plus giving you the possibility for watching the 4 videos on the amazon.com site about how the WDTV box works and how it's to become connected to your TV and finally, for making it extremely convenient for our customers for purchasing that box online at its best price.

Again, very appreciative! I mean, I would have assumed eventually this technology would be around, but I figured it would have been rather pricey...but $100 is amazing!!! And it really bridges the online/digital format to the ease and convenience(not to mention the SIZE) of your TV!

I watched the information videos on this new amazing product and love the line "WHY DIDN'T SOME ONE TELL ME ABOUT THIS SOONER?"! Well, I'm glad you did GR and ordering mine tonight! At first, I was excited at the Tribgirls application alone...but after viewing the product videos I am super excited! It also answered my question if this would play on a standard picture tube TV and it does! Basically, any video that you watch online or on your PC can now instantly be viewed from the comfort and quality of your TV. And now that many cable channels are offering online broadcasts, this really opens up the door for potential. Just last week, a friend of mine who moved to the Middle East and is a huge NHL fan was struggling to watch a game. He and his buddies ended up huddled around his laptop to watch the online broadcast of the game. Now with this product, he could have had it displayed on his TV. Can't wait to get mine!

TRUE! This was my best buy of hardware in the past 10 years. I'm ultra happy, particularly at this price. If it had cost $500 I would have still been happy (psst, but don't tell the manufacturer!).

It can't play the old wmv format but only wmv9 and higher, but that isn't any problem because there is plenty of free software on the internet that can transcode easily old wmv files into mov or mpg files.

One of the best things of this little piece of hardware is the matter of fact that it can also play VOB-files. Those are the DVDs. You can simply copy your DVD (if not hardware-copy protected) to a USB hard disc and play all your DVDs right from the screen, selecting them with your remote control, as well as you can select all your clips and all your downloads from the internet right with your remote control. Here in the office I can access ALL approx. 2000 DWW and tribgirls DVDs directly from the remote control of the WMDV box without handling any DVDs at all. Simply because I have stored all DVDs on USB drives connected to my local LAN. I believe that this box will soone ror later end the decade of DVDs and DVD players completely because they have become completely unnecessary. This is such a simple setup, too.

However, I would recommend a HDMI cable (not included) if you wanna see the DWW HD downloads on a HD-capable TV because the normal cable connection from the box to the TV doesn't give you all the colours and brightness what the HDMI cable does. So I did invest the 19 euros to buy a HDMI cable in the shop next door.

Others who are interested watching their clips and downloads on TV, simply click our link provided and order online. You won't be disappointed!

PS: My only negative view about the box was so far that it's getting pretty hot in standby mode, so what I'm doing is to disconnect the power completely when I don't need it. Btw., saves electrical power $$$, too. However, if you won't use the box and leave it in standby mode for a few days, it's getting pretty warm. Therefore I recommend to disconnect the power during the tiems you don't need it.

I'm anxiously waiting to get mine and another thing that really impressed me was the onscreen user interface. It looked very slick and easy to use. The new version even includes a Youtube feature that lets you access all the videos on that site and store things like favorites.

A little question GR. Is it a lengthy and difficult procedure to transfer my DVD's to my USB hard drive? If in fact it they don't have some kind of protection feature on them.

copying from DVD to a hard drive is like simply copying files from a CD or from any other DVD to a hard drive. It takes as long depending how quick your USB connection  and your DVD drives are. The time it takes is hard to tell because I don't know your hardware. Copy 3 or 4 gb from a DVD to a USB drive and you'll know. I guess it'll be somewhere between 10 and 40 minutes depending on the quality of your hardware. If you have only one 2tb USB drive (current costs of a 2tb USB drive is approx. $ 150) then there will fit approx. 600 DVDs or 1500 HD downloads onto one drive. That should be sufficient for the average customer.

Thanks GR...I really never thought of it until now and sure I can figure my way around it, but appreciate your advice. What I really like is the idea of bypassing the whole DVD aspect of it, and like you said, your whole collection is just one click away.
